"The grace of the world deserves witnesses"
Sarah G Ascough
An internationally published documentary photographer with a passion for capturing people and the lighter side of life. Sarah's documentary work has been published throughout Europe, America, Australia, Middle East, Russia, South East Asia, and Africa. Her book 'Showfield' was selected for the prestigious Martin Parr Foundation Library, and her wedding photographs have appeared on USA Today and featured in many of the UK's top celebrity magazines.
Sarah's documentary approach is perfect for the story of a wedding day. Shooting alongside Jeff at a wedding, her photographs concentrate on moments that are full of character and life. Starting with the groom and his preparations, she works unobtrusively and without staging or directing any of her pictures.
In 2021, Sarah became one of six Leica Witnesses worldwide. She is currently the only female photographer to be included in the campaign.
